  It is the only for profit hospital in the area it shows. Main highlight for me is when my mom had to get wound care done there most of the staff was so abrasive it left my mom in emotional distress multiple times and they had an attitude that made us feel like theu were treating us like second class trash. Only nice person that we saw every week was the young woman in the front working the window.
  
  There is only two nice places in the hospital which is River to River and another place across from the wound care center but can't remember the name of. We also found out that under the new Medicaid system the only insurance they accept is the worst one out of the entire marketplace.
  
  Luckily my insurance covers everything within the SIH (Southern Illinois Healthcare) and Shawnee systems for the biggest parts of my care. Depending on your insurance it's a blessing they have you go to Herrin or Carbondale instead of here.
  
  The only good reputation they got is how much the give to the community but it feels anymore they are starting to make it more of a PR stunt than that they actually care.
